Hmm... Well well... It have to take me this long and alot of convincing to type down a post. First off, my apologies for making such a late entry to the DENcorp blogspot and as I am part of our three men group, I have my own responsibility to uphold (or rather seeing the "Edison is merely a sleeping partner." bit on the right side of the blog is starting to bug me lol!).
Party Nite for DENcorp!Drinks ALL on the house!! =p
Alright alright as there had been an overwhelming 79% of the total 58 votes for me to use pink as my font colour, I won't disappoint you all and I hope this colour would suffice for you all. Since this is my first entry, I'm gonna try and make it short with a short intro. The name? Edison (Haha you all knew that!) My job here? The middle man that keeps DENcorp together (I mean c'mon, without the 'E', then there won't be DEN?!) and I would provide any interesting updates from time to time.
That's the feeling of friendship XD
Anyways to end this entry, I'm gonna post up this clip. I remember Des suggested I make an entry about "K-Pop". So here, a blend of "J-Pop" from a "K-Pop" group TVXQ :
ENJOY~!

Singapore Grand Prix
Catch Formula One's first ever night race at 8pm, this coming Sunday! I think it will be broadcast on ESPN.
Practise Session: Today, at 9pm. Qualifying: Tomorrow, at 9pm. Race Day: The day after tomorrow, 8pm.
A closer inspection on the track. Click to enlarge. I am not a F1 fan, but I am sure gonna watch this :D
I used to support McLaren, back during the Coulthard and Raikkonen days. Those were great days (although they didn't always win). Since their departure from McLaren, I'm not sure who to support. I admit I do fancy BMW Sauber these days. They look very promising this season, especially Robert Kubica. So I guess I will support them :P It's kinda late to start supporting though, with only 4 more Grand Prix left, including Singapore. But who cares?xD
So..Care to join me to watch this race? :)

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots [Game Review]
Ah~ My first review entry. Desmond and Edison hasn't shown any signs of updating soon. Now, I can't just leave the blog like that! Fear not, my friends! For I, Nazrin, the 'N' part of DENcorp, shalt do the updates again!
I've promised I will make a review on the PS3 hit game, Metal Gear Solid 4. And so, I will do it today:D
Since its inception in 1998, the Metal Gear Solid series has always been well-received worldwide. The game implements several cinematic qualities, such as meticulously recreated Hollywood-like cut-scenes and top-notch sound design and voice acting. I've only started playing this game since Metal Gear Solid 2. And tell you what, it's addictive! Everything seems so flawless! Metal Gear Solid 4 uses the PS3 system. Now that is sure to be a hell lot of great improvements for a seemingly perfect game!
Ok ok, the review:
Gameplay - 10/10
Youplay as Solid Snake (or Old Snake, to be more accurate) in Metal Gear Solid 4. But with the Face-Camo ("Camo" comes from the word camouflage) feature in the game, you can change Snake's "face" into other popular characters in the Metal Gear Solid series, like Raiden, or even the younger version of Snake, as if you're playing with that character. There'salso the Octo-Camo feature, where players can blend in with the environement, just like a chameleon.
The combat system has been greatly upgraded, featuring a more in depth Close Quarter Combat techniques, realistic shooting experience, and also a switchable first and third person shooter mode!
As like its predecessors, every single characters in the game are animated. Meaning to say, the enemy soldiers walk around, talk and joke around with their comrades, and show emotions; instead of just standing still waiting for you to approach them.
Then, there's the weapons. There are over 70 different weapons in the game! Most of them are customizable!
Graphics - 10/10
The graphics of this game is simply amazing. Though I didn't play this game at its maximum output on an HD TV, the graphics still rocks the living s**t out of me! Everything is just so realistic and detailed! The leaves, the grass, the rocks, the torn apart buildings, and even the tiny little debris floating in the air looks great! The characters facial expressions and body motion are incredibly realistic too! There doesn't seem to have any boundaries between the gameplay and the actual cutscenes, graphically!
Sound - 10/10
To be honest, it was the sound factor that makes Metal Gear Solid 4 so incredibly good. Everything about the sound matches the surroundings perfectly! The gunshots, the roaring of vehicle engines, the tiny bits of footsteps, everything!
Also, Every characters talk. There is no such thing as muted conversation in this game.
Story - 10/10
The story? Damn! It was like watching an action movie, instead of playing the game, when it comes to cut scenes! The storyline and its qualities are simply amazing. Sometimes, the cut-scenes stretches for so long, and even, at one point of the game, for an hour! It doesn't matter anyways. The plots, the mysteries, the actions, everything, is just so great, that the length didn't matter at all. The game is also filled with many humorous points, which will guarantee to at least crack a smirk on you :)I won't go on further. Don't want to spoil your story mah.
All and all, this game is sure to deliver the excitement it promises. It is worth my BND$80 :) (Phew!) I give a perfect 10/10 for this game.
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots...I salute you.
Yea, I know. Boring entry xp Couldn't think of any interesting thing to talk about :p

Mystery of the Universe
Short talk: Argh, sigh. Man Utd drew against Villareal at home! What the hell! Man Utd are playing s**t these days..Hopefully, with Ronaldo having recovered, the morale of the team will boost. To make things worst, Chelsea's our next opponent T-T
The LHC is a 27 kilometer long circular high energy particle accelerator which took more than 20 years and USD $9 billion to build. In the next few weeks the machine will collide opposing beams of protons charged with approximately 7 TeV of energy resulting in cataclysmic conditions that will mimic the beginning of time, a re-creation of the Big Bang. It is reported that the studies could also help treat diseases such as cancer, improve the Internet, develop systems for destroying nuclear waste and provide insights into climate change and open the door to travel through extra dimensions.
An upgraded version of the LHC was announced, nicknamed the "super LHC". The new accelerator will perform ten times the number of collisions as the current LHC over the same time. The upgrade will feature a new injection system and enhanced detectors to cope with the increase in data packets from collisions.
The bigger International Linear Collider, nicknamed "Einstein's telescope", is planned by the International Technology Recommendation Panel (ITRP). The ILC will have a collision energy of 500 GeV and will collide electrons with particles of antimatter, called positrons, along a 30-40 km completely straight tunnel. The ILC's two giant "guns" pointing at each other would be able to accelerate electrons and positrons to near-light speeds before smashing them together.
"The LHC smashes protons together to discover new particles but also generates lots of debris that obscures the fine detail. The ILC would be a much cleaner machine and tell us far more about their real nature." says Brian Foster, professor of experimental physics at Oxford University and European director of the project. The host country for the ILC has not yet been chosen but it is planned to have the machine constructed by late 2010. The new machine will cost an estimated USD $7 billion to build. Physicists hope that ILC might be able to resolve some of the questions raised by Einstein's theories of relativity.
I'm sure most of you are aware of this latest news. I don't really understand what it says up there, but it sure sounds good to me :D These guys are going to re-create the Big Bang - the events that are similar to those that supposedly occurred when the universe formed.
It will lead to the foundation of cancer treatment too!
The experiment could help scientists confirm existing theories about the origins of matter, mass, and the universe. If not, it could reveal unexpected information leading to new theories about creation.
I wonder what will they come up with. Knowing the origin of th universe sure is an intriguing thing. How the universe is created? Why is it created? Hopefully by successfully recreating the Big Bang, these unanswered questions will gradually be figured out. With these questions gradually getting its true answer, we will have a lead to the ultimate nature of this world - the essence of life. What is the purpose of life? Why do we live?
I'm sure most of you had ponder upon those questions. Of course, I'm talking through a scientific point of view. So do not give comments through a religious point of view. I don't want to talk about religion :)
Let's just hope the physicists will not destroy the Earth in the process :)
Pictures are taken from the great guys at Deviant Art.

Foods I Ate In My Trip To Miri
Let's rewind back to 22nd August 2008.
Where did I go?
Yes, I went to Miri with my family and cousins.
For me, going to Miri without stopping by Seria for some breakfast will be incomplete.
So last time, we didn't stop by the 'Food Court'. Instead, we went to somewhere new to us.
This place looks like a canteen or a rather old coffee shop.
In fact, I don't even know this place exist! Maybe my dad has been here before, but I'm not sure.
There weren't a lot of people there at that time.
They even sell bananas in this place!
Shortly after we found a place to sit, some guy who I assumed to be the boss of this 'cafeteria' came and asked what we want to order.
I wasn't sure what to order, but since Seria is all famous for its Kuey Tiaw, I ordered Kuey Tiaw also loh.
This place is halal, by the way.
The Kuey Tiaw here isn't quite the same as the one I had in 'Syarikat Lee Teck Ming'. I find the Kuey Tiaw here a bit sticky and they doesn't have my favourite soya sauce to mix with.
My breakfast also comes with a glass of ice cold Tiger Beer.
Can't you believe it? It's still early in the morning!
So I was half drunk while I'm still on the way to Miri.
Nah, actually I'm just lying and bullshiting. Brunei doesn't sell beers.
I was drinking Green Tea after all.
Then, there comes the bad effect of drinking something cold in the morning.
You'll get a tummy ache and want to go to the toilet.
Their toilet here is located somewhere behind their kitchen.
Their toilet here is basically made by old zinc as the walls, and there's no flush nor tissue paper.
What they provide inside the toilet is just a yellow bucket of water for you to flush, and a short hose which I think is just long enough to reach your asshole.
They also got some notice or warning written at the back of the door, asking you to help fill in the yellow bucket IF you've used it to flush your whatever.
Damn, because of this, I lost all my 'spirit' to even use the toilet. I tried to take a piss, but I just can't man.
I then left the place, and went to use the toilet at the nearest petrol station.
Here, you have to pay $0.20 to use the toilet, which is almost twice the amount you pay when using public toilets in Malaysia.
This toilet must be clean, I thought.
And I was right, it's much cleaner, but too bad, the toilet seat is still made of plastic rather than genuine marbles.
The second good thing about this toilet is that, it has got freaking loads of tissue paper!
I don't think anyone there would notice even if you took one roll away.
Fast forward to the afternoon, I had my lunch at the food court in Boulevard.
This is my lunch.
Can you believe I paid RM17.90 for this one plate?
And this is my cousin's lunch.
I'm not sure what it is but it's definitely much cheaper and tastier.

EAYLF 2008 - Last Day
Short talk : Bad day. What a stupid game played by Man Utd. Sigh. Can't believe I'm saying this, but Liverpool deserved to win last night. Man Utd played rubbish. Ok, go on Liverpool-ians, you can tease us all you want..
Mr. Hozefa Aziz Singapore Wala won the majority votes, and would present a speech to the director-general of ASEAN on behalf of us, later that night. In the meantime, we were given complete freedom in the morning. Us, the Bruneians decided to go to the National Stadium.
Encountered this on the way.
Hell yeah, toilets on the side of the road. Something you don't see in Brunei.
You might wonder if we were going to watch some football game or something, but the answer is no. We went there to buy ourselves some football jerseys!
The shops stretching around the National Stadium sell sports products only. There are tons of jerseys, boots, etc to choose from! And they are incredibly cheap! I bought a jersey which costs only BND$6! I'm not exaggerating! But of course, it doesn't really resembles its original copy. Don't worry, there are lots of shops to browse through, and many sell original-look-alike jerseys for around BND$20.
I found these in one of the shops:
Pretty cool, huh? I wish I could have one. These posters weren't for sale.
* * *
After that, we got back to the hotel, and get ready for the big event that night. We were to dress in our national costumes. I decided not to wear my Cara Melayu, as I always had problems adjusting my Sinjang everytime. I didn't want to look like an idiot :P
The grand event was held in Central World Hotel, much to my delight. I tell you, Central World Hotel is far more grander than Eastin Hotel!I wish we had stayed there instead. Oh well, it doesn't really matter anyways.
Chandelier.
The table where we sat.
The musicians.
The big guys from the ASEAN committee. Basically, we went there to eat, listen to the speeches, watch some local performances, and dance to the ASEAN song infront of the ASEAN committee guys.
I think this guy is the director-general. If not mistaken la. Most of us didn't bother to listen. Everyone was busy taking pictures with everyone, despite being right under the nose of the director-general of ASEAN. Then, the dance:
Okay, the dance was pretty much chaotic. We didn't do what we practised back in the hotel. I kinda memorised the dance already. But I was surprised to see that the people beside me were doing some random motion. I didn't know what to do, so I tried to mimic some other guy beside me. Oh well, luckily we weren't in some kind of dancing competition, or else, we would be dead.
The local performance followed up shortly.
Since this would probably be the last day for most delegates, everyone was crazy about taking pictures. So I will just entertain you guys with pictures (I'm getting lazy at explaining stuffs). Here are some of the them (click to enlarge):
Chapter ends.
*yawn* Okay, Desmond was complaining about my late late blogging. So yea, I've done my part already ;) But I'll make a review on this EAYLF 2008 next time ;) For now, I want to relax, and let Desmond and the long-awaited Edison to blog ;)

EAYLF 2008 - Third Day (continued 2)
So yea, we played some games that night. There was these guys from Makhampom Theatre Group who promotes the development of community projects. They introduced games to us, in order to relieved us.
This group of delegate shows an image of Singapore. The guy at the back is supposedly the Singapore's most famous icon, the Merlion. The 4 girls sitting infront represents the 4 main races of Singapore - Chinese, Indians, Malays, and Eurasians. The other delegates are to interpret the image presented by each group, and tell which country they are presenting.
My group got Laos. We came up with this:
That's the traditional dance of Laos (I think). Since all of us are pretty much clueless about Laos, we made a desperate attempt, and let the two guys at the back represent a random landmark building. We were glad that there was this delegate shouting out claiming that the two guys were representing a temple in Laos. Okay, I guess there is more than just two hands forming a triangle :P
Unfortunately, that wasnt the end. We have to perform another image. This time we got Vietnam! Another hard one!
I'm sure no one is able to interpret this. We were presenting an image of harvesting. The Korean guy (I forgot his name) behind Diyana (The Malaysian who wears tudong) represents the cone-shaped hat the Vietnamese always wear during this kind of activities. The two delegates squatting down represents the crops, one of which was about to be chopped of. The two guys on the right are cow and rider respectively.Me and Ben did the desperate attempt that we did previously - the random landmark building.
I'll let the pictures do the talking this time. I'm too lazy to explain the rest of the games.
Ok, That's it for today. I'll try my best to finish up my post on Thailand's EAYLF as soon as possible. I'm as eager as everyone else for Edison's debut entry! :D

EAYLF 2008 - Third Day (continued)
Prince Damrong Rajanupab is the Father of Thai's History. He was s son of King Mongkut (Rama IV) and the brother of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V). His residence, Varadis Palace, is a lasting memorial to his life and achievements.
( click to enlarge) If you guys took history, the names of his father and brother should be familiar.
The palace and adjacent library offer a fascinating insight into one of the most memorable members of the Chakri dynasty, a man who daily mixed with civil-service, head of state and foreign dignitaries, yet who, at home with his family, lived a simple life. Prince Rajanupab was no doubt one of the most important people in Thai history.
Continuing from where I had left..
Before proceeding to touring the palace, we had to gather in the prince's private museum, to hear a briefing.
Hikari slept during the briefing. Couldn't blame him.
Yes, briefings are boring, I know. They always do. But there's something different about this briefing. Although it still retains the same boredom you always hear in every briefing session, the guy who briefed on us caught everyone's attention. Take this, he is the grandson of Prince Rajanupab! I had actually met a descendant of King Mongkut! This is something that will be etch in my memory forever!
I think he's called Sangkadis Diskul.
He is so humble! He kept on asking us to forgive his bad English. Honestly, he speaks good English! I like this guy. You don't always see modesty in other people who are like him!
Ben (Cambodian) presenting a gift to him on behalf of the delegates
Much to everyone's relief, the briefing didn't take quite long. We were then guided around the museum by an officer.
The museum stores the prince's extensive collective of books and personal writings. Apart from his initiatives and archaeology, these books are his most valuable legacy to the Thai nation.
That was the very table Prince Rajanupab, together with his father and brother used to work on. I'm not sure if we were allowed to touch the precious things there though!
The chariot.
After the museum tour, we went straight to the palace. The tour in the palace was somewhat scary. The palace interior reminds me of a typical Asian haunted house.
The tour guide seems so scary too! She sends a chill up to my spine! It's not entirely about her looks. It's the way she speaks! Before anything else, she warned everyone, "You should all follow where I go. No one is to wander anywhere,in this palace..alone..If you wander alone,then..Muahahaha" Ok, I'm exagerating :P But yea, it was something like that (of course the "Muahaha" wasn't there).
She guided us thoroughly, never missing a thing. When we got on the first floor, I solved the mystery. The tour guide showed us the exact spot where Prince Damrong died. She told us that on that very floor lies the ashes of Prince Damrong, together with his ancestors. No wonder the place looks so haunted! No wonder wandering alone in the palace isn't a good idea. Imagine getting lost in this palace at night! *shivers*
As the tour reached its end, the tour guide suddenly sat down and muttered a silent prayer to the place where they kept all the ashes. Having nothing better to do, everyone followed suit. Some prayed, some just stared at empty space. As she finished her prayer, she thanked us rather silently, and then walked down the stairs to the ground floor. We followed her, only to find out that she suddenly disappeared!! I'm serious! She sorts of vaporised into thin air! That was so freaky!
I'm glad this spookiness is forgotten once we went outside. There was this group of girl students performing a Thai version of the chicken dance.
Not very appealing though. But it sure lightens our mood with all the laughters they had caused.
And then, there's this:
They are making some sort of bowls. With the help of a handle, these bowls produces sound.
I don't know how to describe the sound. It sorts of produces a vibrational sound. Imagine knocking the bowl with the handle. The bowl seems too vibrate, right? Now imagine the sound it produces. Then imagine using your hand to make the sound waves move harmoniously, in circle. That's the sound it produces. Ok, shoot, I know you guys don't get me :P Never mind.
After that, it was time to part. The officers of this palace bid us farewell, and thanked us.
My bad, she didn't disappeared entirely after all :p
Then, we head back to the hotel.
To be continued..

EAYLF 2008 - Third Day
The third day of my trip to Thailand involves less conference :D We spent most of the time visiting the late Prince Damrong Rajanupab's palace, and played games at night.
We were given a common shirt, which was to be worn on this day.
We went to the palace by bus.
Traffic congestion in Thailand is common. So to make up for the boring journey, Aek (the Thai guy)wants each country to sing a song. The Bruneians were too shy to sing, so Fathi came up with the idea to let everyone listen to the Param Pam Pam song through his phone. Phew! I'm not gonna sing!! The only Brunei song I know is the national anthem xp I'm proud to say that I memorised the lyric perfectly :p
Wish I could show you guys the videos I recorded throughout the journey. But,the size of the videos are too big to upload!I'll try my best to describe the songs ;)
I particularly liked the Singaporean song. It's kinda addictive xp One of the verse goes something like this:
And the moon shines high, in the clear blue sky, And all was bright and gay, Pom pom pom pom.
Sounds familiar?Oh man, the word gay again T-T
And then there's this song:
I ask my love, To take a walk, To take a walk, On Orchard Road.
Pass by Mandarin, To Centrepoint, We had our lunch, At McDonald's.
We had fillets, And an apple pie, We share the cup, Of lemon lime.
In the house next door, There was no light, There was no light, We use torchlight.
Holding by her hands, Looking into her eyes, I ask her to be, My Valentine.
When I passed out, I ask her out,I ask her out, To take her out.
Holding by her hands, Looking into her eyes, I ask her to be, My future wife.
But she rejects! I pull her hands, And slap her face, Until she say yes!
I'll let you guys sing to your own tune :P If you guys want, I can sing it for you guys next time. lol! By the way, "When I passed out" is the term use to describe Singaporeans who just finished 2 years of National Service.
As we reached the designated place, the camera-man took his chance to take our individual picture as we exit the bus, some of which, I found to be quite funny xp
Honda Nozomi (left) and Honda Hikari (right). These Japanese are brothers! Notice how their right hand is put into their pocket??Once brothers, always brothers :p
Ali from Malaysia. He looked so blur xp
John from China.
John is so cool. Look at the way he looks at the camera, and his motion. Like some sort of superstar xp He is even cooler than Edison Tiah Teck Cherng of this blog!! So, Tiah, what's your respond?:P
The ministry officer of Laos.
Now this is what I call the best photo pose ever! Never in my life have I seen such pose! This phenomenal pose deserves a phenomenal name! What do you guys think? How about The Dragon Pose?xp
Anyways~
Welcome to Prince Damrong Rajanupab's palace! (Nope, that's not what the banner said. Try to figure it out)
Ok, I'll stop here. I'm too sleepy to continue xp I'll continue the rest tomorrow, on a fresh entry ;) Good night everyone!

EAYLF 2008 - Second Day (continued)
Short Talk: *huge sigh of relief* Exams almost done!! Only left Maths to revise!!
***************
Dinner is pretty much similar everyday. I managed to get hold of my favourite food, at last :D I didn't know it was there, until the Chinese delegate, John, told me.
My favourite food is...
DUCK! :D I love ducks ;) I'm surprised many people don't like it. I actually prefer ducks over chickens.
Moving on..
Most of us went shopping that night. Each country will be escorted by a Thai delegate(s).
(Just ignore the girl in the middle. You guys know her already, right?:P)
The girl on the left is Gift. She said I reminded her of her brother. So we ended up calling each other "sis" and "bro" :P The girl on the right is So. So, So and Gift will be escorting us Bruneians :D
All of us would be going to Suan Lum Night Bazaar.
Since it is relatively far from the hotel, we hired taxis to go there.
On the way to the bazaar, we met something really unexpected.
(Sorry for the bad image quality. I was in the taxi, and it was raining that night!)
Try to guess what that huge black bundle in the picture is. Still can't figure it out? It is a freaking Elephant's *ss!! Too bad, the taxi was moving too fast. I wish I could take more pictures of it. The elephant doesn't seem to be afraid of its surroundings. I think it provides some sort of a slow transportation service. There's a strap on top of its body, which I presume is for people to ride on it. It also "parks" itself on the side of the road. Whatsmore, it is not maneuvered by anyone!! It works alone! So tamed! So told us elephants are normal sight in Thailand. If I have the chance to go Thailand again, I will make sure to ride one of these!
Welcome to Suan Lum Night Bazaar!
Seems like a haunted house to me.
Busy!
Oh man, what have I been doing?T-T I didn't take enough pictures of Suan Lum! *Sigh..* I actually regretted a lot of things. I didn't really shop, and I didn't get to have a go on Thai massagings. My sis told me to try on the massage. She said I can choose a girl, a guy, or a gay as my masseur! However, I decided not to have a go, at the prospect of hearing the word gay. It totally turned my mood off! But then again, I should have tried T-T Who knows, I might not be able to go to Thailand ever again T-T
In the end, I just bought one thing. And it is a thing I will treasure forever :P
METAL GEAR SOLID 4!! YEAH!! I will make a review on this game in one of my future entries ;) One thing I'm sure as hell - this game will definitely rocks the s**t out of me! xp After a chain of window shoppings, I became tired and too sleepy. So me, Gift, Nozomi (the Japanese guy), Tukta (the Lao girl), and another Lao girl whom I failed to remember her name (sorry!), decided to go back to the hotel earlier.
And then I sleep xp
I'll coninue on Day 3 tomorrow ;) I'll try to speed up, as Desmond and Edison are going to blog right after I finish my Thailand saga ;)

EAYLF 2008 - Second Day
Next day was conference day.
All countries are to present a report on local youth activities and initiatives respectively. Each country must have only one delegate to do the presentation. Luckily i wasn't the one chosen to do the presentation for Brunei :P
To be honest, I was really disappointed with our presentation. Oh well, it doesn't matter. It's the opportunity to be in this grand forum that matters ;)
Those two are the Japanese dudes. We had a short break in between presentations of 4 countries. It was during these breaks, we talked to everyone and get to know each other ;)
That guy with the beard above is from Singapore. His name is Hozefa Aziz Singapore Wala. No kidding!
Very patriotic!
From L to R : Me, Fathi (Brunei), Diyana (M'sia), Ha (M'sia), John (China) and Amira (M'sia) They served this during breaktimes. It is some sort of a bean. I forgot what it's called, but it sure taste good! :D
I like the way they arranged the forks :P After the presentations, we were separated into our respective groups. I'm with the environment group ;)
These are the people in my group:
From L to R: Blue (Thailand) and Ben (Cambodia)
Yes here name is Blue! The colour blue! I've heard of Brown, Black, White, and so on. But definitely not Blue :P
Aek and Nan from Thailand
Jae Wan from Korea
Tukta from Laos
Amirah from Malaysia
Zhang Ying from China
Main Anh, the Vietnamese, whom we voted to be the secretary of this group
and lastly, our president, Khai, from Singapore
Basically, we discuss problems on how to tackle environmental issues, and making sure it is sustainable. I'll explain what we discussed in one of my next entries to come ;)
To conclude the day, we had one last meeting together, at the ballroom again.
We were told to practice singing and dancing to the ASEAN song, which is to be performed on the last day. Yes, there is an ASEAN song. If you guys want the song, just ask it from me through MSN ;) Although I'm not sure if what I'm doing is legal or not :P hahaha!
The song is actually pretty catchy though. Not sure who's the singer, but I have a feeling it is by Tata Young ;)
I'm happy to report that this dance, which was introduced by the Thai girls, was not accepted :POtherwise I would be dancing like sissies xp
On second thought, the first dance doesnt't seem that bad at all.
Damn, those Chinese are always creative! Look at how successful the opening and closing ceremony of the recent Beijing Olympic! I'm not sure if it suits the song though. The song is energetic, and this dance seems so peaceful, so calm...so spiritual.
In the end, we agreed to dance randomly xp
Ok, I'll stop here. It's not finished yet. I'll continue in my next entry ;)

EAYLF 2008 - First Day (continued)
After dinner, we were to go to the ballroom to introduce ourselves with the rest of the delegates, and to hear a briefing about this forum.
The ballroom alright xp
These are the officers who greeted us, and gave us the briefing. There were 4 delegates from each country, except for Japan (2 delegates), Korea (3 delegates), and Thailand (12 delegates!! Cheating! xp). Too bad, there were none from Myanmar, Philippines, and Indonesia. Introducing..
Cambodia! Their ministry officer sat first from the left.
The guys from China! Officer, first from the right.
The Malaysian delegates! Oh yea, they told us their ministry officer is sleeping in his room xp
The cool dudes from Korea! No officers are accompanying them.
Laos! Officer is the first on the right.
The girls from Thailand!
The Singaporeans are on the left side (the ministry officer being the first), and the remaining boys from Thailand are the first three from the right.
The delegates from Vietnam (Including a ministry officer, who sat second from the left)! And of course, not forgetting...
Us! The Bruneians! Btw, that's our officer sitting first from the left ;) The Japanese dudes didn't manage to attend this meeting, as they had a flight delay. I'll skip the briefing part. Everyone knows briefings are lame and boring xp lol!
After that, we played some games ;)
"Did somebody say games??hehe" I don't know how to describe the games we played. I'll try my best ;)
The first game we played is basically like a "do this" game. Everyone has to walk around the room, and when the host says "sit!",then everyone must sit immediately. Those who failed to do so will get some sort of punishments, which is quite a silly thing to do :P This game is baby stuff ;) It's not limited to sittings of course. There's "touch the wall!" or "jump continuous!" or..you get my point ;)
"Touch the wall!"
The girl in the middle is called Cindy. She's from Singapore. Believe it or not, she is the ministry officer of Singapore!! The next game was introduced by Vietnam. It is sort of an auction game. The prize? A girl~ :P The game consists of 3 guys and 2 girls. The guys will choose which girl they would want to "marry" with. If you chose a girl, and the other 2 guys chose the other girl, then congratulations, you got the girl! xD As for the other 2 guys, they will be engaged in an auction-like bidding. They must present "marriage gifts" for the girl. The guy who offered the most "gifts" gets the girl. Oh yea, and the gifts must be something that you're currently wearing/bringing. For example, mobile phone, belt, blazer, shirt, or even undies (if you dare la)!
This Thai guy called Aek has lots....
...and lots to offer! He won the game in the end. No surprise xp Those are the only games we played that night ;) There are more games in those 4 days of my stay xD
I think I'll stop here ;) So, who do you think is the prettiest/handsomest?:P
p/s some pictures are not taken by me ;) I got it from the camera-man ;)
