Adjustments

Hello people!

Apparently, there is a little bit of correction in our upcoming Monthly Test schedule.

Still the same, we'll have Malay and Additional Maths on the first day of test.

The second day which used to be English has been changed to P.O.A.

The bad thing about this is that we'll have POA test earlier whereas, the good thing is that at least this time we'll only have POA test unlike the previous timetable which was POA and Physics on the same day.

Erm.. Is it confusing?

The third day will be English papers. And heck, it's the Qualifying exam already.

The qualifying exam should be around mid-August but for some very unexplainable reasons, the English papers were brought earlier.

Only English QUALIFYING exam papers will be brought earlier whereas the rest will maintain it's scheduled time.

Maths D will be on the same day too.

We'll then have English Paper 2 Qualifying paper.

Still the worst day of all is when we'll have both Biology and Chemistry together.

I don't even know how to study or revise for Bio/Chem.

These two are obviously my worst subjects.

I have exactly no idea how am I going to prepare for this day. Can anyone help me please?

7th July will still be MIB.

Coincidentally, 7th July will also be the day His Majesty the Sultan visit our school. I'm really looking forward to his visit to SOAS.

Then we'll have Physics on the last day.

Sigh~

This is such a boring post.. I don't even know why do I post about my monthly test schedule.. Perhaps just to let you all be aware that I won't update this blog for sometime which is during the monthly test?

Yeah, I think it is..

A visit to SMRIPAS

Today, we got a surprise visit to Sekolah Menegah R.I.P.A.S. at 9.30am.
An explomaths carnival was held there.

It's a very long trip as we travelled by bus all the way to the outside of Brunei-Muara District.

As we reached the place, I heard most of my friends commenting on how weird the shape of the school is.

The roofs of the school are mostly pointed on each end. Well, I don't think it's weird but rather unique.

There are a lot of cars seen at the parking area of the school and I can see a lot of the newly-launched Vios. Rare sight huh.

We then head straight to their auditorium.

There are prefects guarding the entrance of the auditorium, though I don't know why.

But a prefect wearing a yellow sports shoe is something you don't see everyday.

As we first stepped in the hall, our teacher in charge went to register for our arrival.

Then there were some kind of board where you can write your signature to show your existence too.

Inside the hall, there are quite a lot of booths set up, each of them representing different schools.

Each booth gives different types of maths question or either IQ questions.

Andy tried the Sudoku game.

As long as there is something to do with Japan, there's always Andy.

Andy sat there and attempted the Sudoku game for quite a long time!

Could be more than 20 or 30 minutes I don't know..

But he was really sitting there, doing it for a long time.

I walked a few rounds, won some prizes for answering quizzes, and then come back, Andy was still there doing the Sudoku thingy.

But in the end, he has done it!

So, of course if you have successfully answered any of the quiz, you'll get prizes.

*Prizes as in sweets, choko-choko and lollipops.

We have to meet at our bus by 11.15am, so when it's time, me and some of my fellow classmates were the earliest to arrive at the bus.

We then began to take pictures.

Uhh.. I'm not in any of the pictures.. -_-"

I have absolutely no idea what they are looking at.

They looks like some kind of band! Hahahaha! No offense, it's a compliment =p

Right, on our way back, we witnessed an accident.

Not witnessing it while it happened but witnessing it only after it had happened.

We don't know whether it's really an accident or not.

When we were there, we saw a motorcycle, lying on the ground.

A policeman, presumed to be rider of the fallen motorcycle was lying on the ground too! He was being attended to by another policeman. The incident seems really serious, grabbing the attention of numbers of onlookers.

Why we are not sure whether it's a "real" accident or not?

Because the policeman who was being attended too can still move his hands and arms and seems to be talking to the policeman next to him.

Fortunately, there were no blood spills.

Maybe it was just a rehearsal for the future?

Not sure? Then let's check out tomorrow's newspaper!

Some people are born good, while others make good.

Hello people!

The monthly tests are coming again..

It's already quite fortunate that our school didn't have Mid-Year Examinations at all this year.

We all get to play and enjoy life when our friends from other schools were having their mid-year exams.

But this time, it's the opposite! We are going to have our monthly tests soon and our friends from other schools will be enjoying their time!

Monthly test this time surely means no playing games, no hanging out and of course, no using computer for me. I'm not joking, I'm not lying, I'm not kidding and it's not funny. =)

Our monthly test starts this Saturday, 30th June 2007.

Malay and Add Maths on the first day.. Fair enough..

Hah! Only English on the 2nd day! Very simple! A for Ang Mo Kio, B for Belukar, C for Coconut, D for... DESMOND!

D Maths on the 3rd day! Haiya, this + this, that - that.. simple! Use abacus also can!

Physics and POA on the same day?! Alamak!

Biology and Chemistry!! Together?? Oh my god!!

And finally on the last day will be.....

MIB.. Dubbed the most "unimportant" subject by most people.. but not me ahh! Im Bruneian! lame kns..

P/S: I'm actually blogging now secretly without my parents knowing.. Shh.. I think I should be on hiatus for these days until after my monthly test.. So, you ppl prolly wont see me online.. I'm still on my way to become a prodigy!

Revenge is a funny thing.

I received 2 interesting messages last night.

No, I won't be playing futsal but yes, I'll watch Ocean's Thirteen.

Our friend, Asnawi, asked me to go Harun's Gym by 10am but sorry loh, I can't. 10am was too rushing for me so, I'm not playing futsal.

Yeah, and I forgot to tell them I'm not joining them to play futsal.

By the time they all finish playing futsal, it would be 12pm+ already. I gotta go take my lunch, shopping and then tuition. No time! Pai seh hor!

I had lunch with my dad and mum at Sentosa Restaurant today at noon.

And guess who I met??

GARY TEO! and his mum.. Gary, busy playing mobile I see..

After my lunch, which is 30 minutes before my Chemistry tuition, I went to The Mall with my dad and mum.

There were a lot of cars and worse, traffic jam. We can't even find a proper parking! My dad even have to park the car at a small corner behind Sin Kew Hin!

Meanwhile at The Mall, there were some BIBD roadshow. A lot of nice nice cars were put on display. Not only cars, but motorbikes too! I saw some merchandises such as key-chains, t-shirts and caps of Harley Davidson on sale, but when I look at the price tag, I knew I have to walk away immediately.

Just then, I realized my dad wanted to buy Justin's album. So I asked him,

Me: Oh yea, you wanted to buy Justin's album right?
Limpeh: We can't even find original one lah, kam pui!
Me: Eh got bah, at The Mall's Golden Music
Limpeh: Bah, let's go!

Ta-da! Hahaha.. Happy lah him.. At the same time, limpeh also bought MLTR's album..

Actually, to help limpeh look for JT's album was the main reason I came to Mall.

It was almost 11.30 by then, so I told my dad that I should be going tuition right away.

I was then late for tuition by 7 or 8 minutes.

I told my parents not to pick me home from tuition as I would be going mall with Tiah.. and then follow his car back home.

Tiah said he told his mum that he wanted to go mall to cut his hair after complaining to her it was too long. If it wasn't for this excuse, I guess I wouldn't be at Mall with Tiah today?

So the first place we went was Essensuals.

I think Tiah's haircut this time really makes a difference to his look. I'm serious.

He even said he needed to gain just a few more weights to get the same exact look as how he appeared in his IC.

Gilbert applying wax on Tiah's newly-cut hair.

And the OUTCOME!!

The fashion boy in his fresh new haircut! Haha..

After Essensuals, me and Tiah went to Ideal as Tiah had not had his lunch yet. Kesian..

Tiah giving me the "one-fingered gesture".

Finally, it was almost time for the show to start! Ocean's 13 here I come!

Excellent movie! Brilliant! Maybe the best movie of the year for me?

It was night time already when the movie ends. As it's so late already, it's time to go home.

Me and Tiah waited outside for the car. Tiah's car. No, I mean, Tiah's father's car.

Tiah's parents also took me to Youme Restaurant for dinner.

How nice of them!

Chicken Chop Rice and a glass of mineral water shouldn't be too much hor?

Thanks anyway Tiah!

A day with the fashion boy!

Tiah came to my house early this morning as he has to follow my car to POA tuition which was at 2pm today.

He came my house so early in the morning because his dad can't pick him at any other time you see.

I can actually pick him to tuition directly from his house but come to think of it, it would be much better to have him at my house so that I won't be bored and have someone to "interact" with.

He should be at my house by 7am, but turns out he came at around 7.40am. Luckily he came late though, I overslept today!

Well, I played PES6 with Tiah before my dad took all of us (including my mum and my sis) to have our breakfast.

We had our breakfast at Lucky Restaurant. Dim sum eh!

After Lucky, someone among us wanted to buy newspaper but they were all sold out at the shops around Seri.

So we got no choice but to go First Emporium to look for just one newspaper.

We were supposed to just buy the newspaper and go but then my dad go parked the car so I guess it means.. shopping?

Yeah, so me and Tiah "walked" on our own. We went to the CD shop on the 2nd floor, went to Gills Sport, Maya and so on.

The tragedy of the day comes when I found out that Dunkin Donuts have been closed down. Sad. The best donut store in the country is now gone! No more!

And so, there wasn't anything else to see in First Emporium so me and Tiah went down to the ground floor.

Is it the durian season already?? I have no idea..

Right, then there's this part of First Emporium supermarket where they sells cheap stuffs like those plastic-made containers and so on.

Me and Tiah went inside. And guess what?

Tiah giggled and asked me, "Eh, who farted?"

And just then I realized, someone FARTED! Omg! The smell! There wasn't much people around that area except the two cashier ladies.. So who could it be? It couldn't be the cashiers 'cause they seem puzzled when they saw me and Tiah there laughing like non-stop.. I guess the cashiers got flu or running nose today that they can't even smell it? The culprit must have pat his ass and gone far far away right after he farted.. I don't know why but my instinct told me it's a "he"! And why chose such a place to fart?! Aiya cannot tahan the smell lar, so suffering.. Next time mustn't fart in public okay?? So immediately, me and Tiah walked out of the place.

NOTE: I know it's very rude for me to say it this way. So, sorry! =p

After the success of buying the newspaper, we left First Emporium and went home.

Me and Tiah continued playing PES6 until it was almost time for tuition.

2pm - 5pm: 3 hours of POA tuition.. -_-"

5pm: My dad arrived to pick me, but then seeing Tiah trying to look for transport back home, my dad offered to send him back.

My dad felt hungry on the way home, so he asked if I wanted to eat.

Because I got another tuition at 7pm, I said "yes" to him as I can't wait for my mum too cook and so so 'cause I know I would be in such a hurry later on.

We went to Golden Leaf Restaurant in Seri.. (Yeah, Seri again..)

Ordered '烧肉饭' (shio ba peng).

I finished the food earlier than my dad. Actually, my dad's food haven't arrive that time. So while my dad's still waiting, I went next door to Popular Restaurant and tapau-ed two roti kosong.

I felt hungry that time.. So I tapau-ed loh..

7pm: Malay tuition

8.45pm: Reached home

9.15pm: Went to a particular temple to "pai pai"

11pm: Reached home again!

11.15pm: Bathed

11.45pm(NOW): Blogging!

So now you see, my schedule was so so so tight today. I can't even get the time to relax. Sigh~

Is alcohol a good way to relieve stress?

Even death can't do us apart

I've watched a Thai horror film today! ALONE!

No no no, I didn't watch it alone, the film's name is "Alone".

Since last week, Boon Hui has already asked if I'd like to join him. So why not? I can 'tumpang' his car to Maths tuition after that, so I decided to go.

He wanted me to go meet him at RF by 9am.

However this morning, as I woke up and saw my alarm clock showing 9.05am, my eyes turned big and I got out of my bed immediately to get myself all prepared.

I told my dad about going to mall at the very last minute yeah. About 30 minutes before we left and I actually thought my dad might have gone to work already but turns out he was still at home. Lucky me.

But before going mall, my dad took me to a popular "restaurant" in Berangan. I don't know if you call that place a restaurant but we always referred that place as "Ah Heng's" which comes from the owner's name.

A bowl of Kolo Mee Pok, Kolo Wan Tan, 2 Kolo Chicken Wings & a Green Tea = Fantastic Breakfast!

After breakfast at Berangan, only then my dad picked me to The Mall.

I felt my hair was soooo out-of-style and becomes very flat. I can't even make a good hairstyle out of it. So before meeting Boon Hui they all, I went for a haircut at Essensuals. =p

My hairdresser suggests to just "fix" my hair instead of changing the style and so so.

Throughout the day, no one at all can distinguish the difference. No one!

After cutting my hair, I then went to RF to meet up with my friends.

I saw Boon Hui, Tiah, Gary and James there and so I played with them for a while. I played CS with them for only 45 minutes FFS!

I asked Tiah, "Eh, how's my hair?" He replied me by saying, "Oh, nice lah, I actually thought you went to cut your hair just now"

-_-"

Ok, as lunch time approaches, the 5 of us went to Ideal.

I didn't eat much for lunch as I felt full after having such a fantastic breakfast in the morning.

1 Chicken Tetrazine and a cup of cola for lunch. Enough.

The time passes by very soon and it's 12.30 already! So we all returned to The Mall and head to the cineplex!

Met Jimbo along the way and so he tagged along.

As we've reached the cineplex, we saw Thedoric there leaning at the balcony, waiting for us alone.

There, we also saw Edwin and Jane at the cineplex's Candy Bar buying pop corn and drinks I think?

NOTE: Only me, Tiah, Boon Hui, Gary, James, Jimbo, Edwin, Jane and Thedoric watched the movie.

The time then shows 12.45pm and we moved inside the theater immediately.

Only half of the theater was occupied. The show starts shortly afterwards.

Wow! The movie was great but scary. Of course lah, horror movie mah.. The story was brilliant and twisting. Very nice, can be recommended. As the scary scenes approached, I closed one of my eye to avoid the double shock! Coward ler~

The show ended around 2.20pm and so we (me, Tiah, Thedoric, Boon Hui) went to play pool after that.

We played a 2 vs 2 game.

We changed teammates after every rack.

Boon Hui played very good ah nabeh! Left us "noobs" as the benchwarmers.

At 4pm, I followed Boon Hui's car to Maths tuition. I find it weird but nice that Boon Hui actually likes people to follow his car. Hahaha!

At least today Boon Hui did some REAL work at tuition. Very guai ahh..

After tuition, my dad took me to Bandar.

He said he wants to buy more CDs. CDS! Did I hear that wrongly?!

So of course I go with him..

We went to Golden Music to look for CDs.

My dad loves country songs. He tried to look for them but failed. I suggested Carrie Underwood and I think he likes it, so he bought Carrie Underwood's cd.

My dad tries to look for 1 more album but all without success!

We even walked to other CD shops in Bandar just to look for this particular album. Wanna know which album? I'm sure all of you knows it.

It's ...........

JUSTIN!

It's amazing to think that my dad actually likes Justin's songs. How cool eh~

He wanted to buy the original album of "Future Sex/Love Sounds" but there wasn't any in Bandar.

My dad actually has the pirated version of it but I have no idea why he wants to buy the original one.

The End.

Gym and Futsal = Fatigue!

A few days ago, I was asked to go Harun's Gym to play futsal.

We were supposed to go at 9am but Nazrin wanted me to go earlier.

This is the first time I've seen Nazrin interested in doing gym workouts and so on, so I went to Harun's Gym earlier this morning and joined him!

Apparently, me and Nazrin weren't not the only persons doing the gym workout thing. Edison a.k.a. Tiah also joined. In fact, he's the earliest to reach the place!

As I first stepped in Harun's Gym today, it was all so empty.

The worker there, a.k.a. the cashier, doesn't seem ready to work yet. He seemed sleepy. I took out $3 from my wallet, paid the cashier and moved inside the gym.

I then saw Nazrin and Tiah, running on the treadmills.

There, Tiah told me the worker somehow overslept this morning and forgot to open their door for business.

He even added that he saw pillows and blankets lying on the sofas inside.

Well, I think I can confirm the fact that they really live inside the gym as I've seen one of them brushing their teeth inside the gym's washroom before.

While Tiah and Nazrin were running on the treadmills, I went to lift some weights.

Erm.. Do you call it "lift weight"?

Okay, what I'm trying to say is that I've trained my muscles while the two boys were running on treadmills.

Train muscles? Lift weights? Arggghhh screw it lahhh!

Couldn't do much gym workouts today as I felt so so fatigued. Muscles almost worn out! I felt my $3 investment to the gym this morning was kinda wasted..

So after all this, we all waited at the cashier area and waited for our friends who's going to play futsal with us. There are sofas and seats anyway, so we all took a seat and waited~

After waiting for about 15 minutes, only 2 of them came..

So damn frustrated! Not punctual one ahh everyone! Nabehh!

Finally, after a further wait of 20-35 minutes, most of them came. Altogether, 8 people there we counted.

So make it a 4 vs 4 game?

Ahhh~ Finally we played~

So after playing, we felt hungry. Some of them went back to SOAS for some unknown reasons whereas the rest went to Bandar to look for something to eat.

So me, Tiah, Nazrin, Gary and Jimbo went to eat at Food Zone, a restaurant popular for it's cheap and halal dimsums.

We then placed our orders.I ate quite a lot today. Hungry mah~

So after eating, we walked around Yayasan and Bandar.

We wanted to go Netcom too but the placed was closed. Damn unlucky ah~

Happy Father's Day!

Woah! Father's Day came tooo fast!

I didn't have any plans for Father's Day until this morning when my sister asked where should we celebrate.

I actually came to realise Father's Day was today like erm.. 3 days ago?

So this time, we went to Misato to celebrate.

It was Japanese food again this time.

I had Japanese food too for Mother's Day, so why not just make it fair and square for Father's Day?

So as usual, whenever you step in Misato, almost all of the waitresses will be greeting you by saying 'Irashaiimase!'

The business at Misato today was rather ok..

Not much customers today..

And so I ordered a plate of Garlic Fried Rice to make sure I feel full.

Wah.. The garlic fried rice looks so flat ahh..

I didn't eat much sushis.

I felt quite full today and so I didn't eat much.

In return for the Mother's Day celebration, my mother decided to pay for the meal.

My sister insisted to contribute at least $10 but my mom hesitated.

Well, me, I just sat there quietly and look at them both pushing the $10 note towards each other.

What a unfilial son I am..

I should have at least contribute a little bit right?

Never mind, I'll just treat the money paid as I.O.U.s Hehe =D

So after Misato, we went to Kiulap Hua Ho for shopping!

Not shopping exactly, but just to walk around so that the food we just ate would digest in a faster and healthier way.

Oh yeah, one more thing that lightens up my mood for the week is that my dad installed a DVD Player in the car!

I noticed the LCD Monitor plus the DVD Player when my dad fetched me home from tuition like 2 days ago.

We were still at Gadong that time, so I persuaded my dad to go UNITEK to buy some DVDs and CDs.

Wow!

Now I really can't wait for another long journey in the car!

Happy Father's Day, dad! I'm sure you'll always be a good role model for me!

P/S: I found the culprit which caused my tummy-ache lately.. It was DQ's Irish Cream Moolatte! Apparently, I had a cup of Moolatte a few days ago and then my tummy hurts. Well, today, I had another cup of Moolatte and my tummy hurts again. But the Moolatte was tasty though! =p

Tummy-ache chronicles

After all these days, no one of the administration nor the school's principal has responded to our proposal of forming the Film Studies Club and so, everyone in the club assumed that we had been given the green light to produce our very own movie.

So Andy sent me a sms a few days ago and told me to meet him at school.

We were supposed to turn up by 10am, but then this morning, I was awoken by Nazrin's sms saying he's already at school.

It's 9am that time! Argghhh!

Because I couldn't sleep anymore after reading the message, I quickly changed and went to school immediately.

The school was all so quiet this morning. I expect extra classes to be conduct by at least 1 or 2 other classes but no! Every classroom was empty! Or was it not? I can't remember..

A little bit of construction work at school. Some Indonesian workers (I presume) were seen tearing out windows from classes in Block B.

Ok, let's skip the construction part. So, we waited for more "actors" and "crews" to arrive before we proceed to make our so called 'movie' or let's just say, 'a short film'.

I'm sorry but I can't tell you what kind of clips or 'movie' we are going to make.

This picture below is the most I can show you.

And also this video.

Noon arrives. Everyone became hungry. Someone came up with a great idea of walking to Kiulap for lunch. Err.. I think it was me, but then in the end, we went to Bandar to have our lunch.

So we chose to go Ideal for our lunch.

After Ideal, me and Tiah went to Yayasan Shopping Complex. Tiah wanted to buy a pants, so I waited for him. I then saw this noticeboard.

Anyone up for the Tekken tournament at UNI Arcade?

So after reading the noticeboard, me and Tiah went to Arcade for some fun.

Before we convert our precious hard-earned cash into UNI Arcade tokens, we walked around the arcade to erm.. 'look-look'.

Yeah, so we went inside and 'look-look' until I saw this machine 'Time Crisis 4' with credits of 4/2 in it.

Know what it means?

It means somebody has put 4 tokens in it and maybe abandoned the game then walk away or let's just say, that guy forgot to play the game!

What a waste it is if that guy abandoned the game, and how careless that guy is if he had forgotten to play.

Each game costs you 2 tokens so it also tells us that we can resume the game directly after the game's over.

So after playing 2 rounds of free gun-shooting games, we proceeded to the karaoke box.

There were quite a lot of people singing today. I mean, it's a lot for the Yayasan Branch. And I noticed one guy singing alone in a particular karaoke box. His singing was err.. so powerful that I wanted to walk away so quickly.

So me and Tiah chose a vacant karaoke box and tested the microphones. Everything was fine, so we sat down on the stools provided.

Tiah then glanced around and saw a B$1 dollar note on the floor.

Oh hey! How lucky we are today!

Ever heard the old people say, 'If you are lucky, then no force in the world can stop you?'

Ahh lame~

Anyways, I've been having stomachaches lately. You have no idea how many times I've visited the toilet.

OH GOD! PLEASE TELL ME WHAT WENT WRONG WITH MY STOMACH!

Limbang Trip

So did you travel to anywhere for your holiday?

I travelled to Limbang with my family and my cousin yesterday!

Well, it's not like um.. for shopping or have fun, it's just that my dad has to make new passport and we have to accompany.

I woke up as early as 5.45am to get all-prepared for the trip. You know, to avoid the long queues.. So we reached the border to have our passport 'chopped' around 6.30 and there were no cars at all! No queues!

Along the way to the town of Limbang, we get to see a lot of things. Wooden houses. Forests. Buffalos grazing the field and so on.

The forest and vegetation there is truly a wonder and you have no idea how thick the mist was in the morning.

I played and listened to my phone's MP3 just to keep myself awake and entertained.

Ahhh~ As we've reached the town of Limbang, our first stop was the currency-changing center.

The most common-types of transport here are motorbikes, scooters and Proton cars.

The whole morning was spent on having our breakfast, making my dad's passport, him taking passport photos, and erm.. some more which I've forgot.

So as lunch time approached, we went to this place called 'Mei Xin Coffee Shop' after huge recommendation from my Limbang cousins a few months back.

So we went in and chose a place to sit.

I sat down and began to browse through their menu.

And too my utmost surprise, I saw this.

What's "mee besi"?

Arggh who cares lah.. It's not like I'm not going to eat any of those. So I quickly ordered "char-siew fan".

Yummy~

After lunch, we then decided it's time to err.. walk-walk in the plaza.

Yeah, I know there won't be much to see or buy in the Limbang Plaza except for the magazines.

In the end, I bought a new magazine, new t-shirt, new pants and new belt. And now I still can't erase the grin on my face. Hahaha.. Apakan~

Then we left the plaza and went to this 'duty-free' place.

The name seems cool and interesting but I didn't even know what does the shop sells.

So as I went in, my mouth was left open wide~ *exaggerate*

It's a place where you can buy liquor!

I didn't know Limbang have such place! So sakai!

In an instant, the place became my favourite shop in the whole Limbang.

The wine and beers all look so delicious eventhough I'm not a drinker.

There were Absolut Vodkas..

..Banrock Stations..

.. and err.. Penfolds? Never heard of it before~

Surely, it is a place where you can buy a huge bottle of champagne as a gift or whatever you like.

They have almost every kind of liquor. Except Shandy.

And so after helping my uncle buy a half-box of Corona Extra, we left the place.

It's 3pm by then and so we went to this "Limbang Rojak" place.

So what's the best food they've got here?

Of course it's Rojak! Hahaha lame..

Yea, I shared a plate of rojak with my dad but then it was not enough for me, so my dad ordered another plate consisting of only cuttlefishes and tofus. No pineapple and cucumber!

I then became so tired after having not enough sleep the previous night.

Yesterday was so so busy that I did not even have the time to blog.

Flag-waving

Today has to be one of the most memorable day in the history of Brunei.

Royal wedding, that is. And we, despite being in Form 5, were called for flag-waving.

Because this might be the last flag-waving activity that I'll have and also because royal weddings doesn't come by very often, I've decided to go. Heck, attendance is compulsory.

I went to school around 7.20am today just to find out that my classmates were gathering inside our old classroom.

Well, they were playing cards when I arrived.

Playing Yu-Gi-Oh! cards I mean!

Alright, after that, we were told to collect everything we needed for the flag-waving thingy.

We got our flags...

..foods and drinks...

..raincoats...

..and the badge!

And so we walked and lined beside the graveyard near St. George's School and also somehow opposite to an old building which used to be a hospital I think?

And then we all waited for more than 2 or 3 hours for the royal procession. Despite the long wait, every time spent was erm.. worth it?

While waiting, some media crew approached us and requested to make a short clip featuring some of our boys, saying the line "You are watching RTB International!", followed by some other lines. I'm not involved in any of them though.

So as the royal procession took place, I waved towards the royal family and I was glad to be waved back at.

The weather today was hot, unlike 3 years ago when it rained heavily. But at least this time we were provided with raincoats. Lol.

Farewell

Well, it's the 9th of June now, and the Victoria School's principal and students have all left Brunei with a 10.40am flight back to Singapore.

During assembly this morning, our principal told us how happy he was after hugging the principal of Victoria School at the airport just now.

Our principal also said that the principal of Victoria School had whispered to him in the airport, saying that, "Pengiran, we will surely welcome you and your students to Singapore next year, but I'm so sorry to tell you that we may not make your visit as nice and welcoming as SOAS did to us,"

Anyways, farewell Victorians~

Second day visit of Victorians

Today is the second-day visit of the Victorians to SOAS.

And we were once again called into the auditorium.

There seemed to have some cultural exchange program between our school and the visiting school.

Our school principal and the Victoria School principal was there, but not the Victoria students.

Bamboo mats were placed on the floor, filling the auditorium with a little Malay-ish ambience.

Refreshments were also provided. Different types of kueh and teas were available. I didn't get to eat though. By the time I've left the auditorium, the food were still sealed with plastic wrappings.

But I managed to taste ambuyat for the very very first time. One comment, doesn't suit my taste loh.. The texture is almost like glue. Very sticky, yet somehow slippery and wet. I ate it once and never wanted try it again. =p

Well, interesting part of the day comes when both principals approached a boy from SOAS who's playing the piano. Our principal asked the boy to play a song and he started singing. Well, he didn't sing on stage. Just singing beside the pianist, with the microphone.

Our principal also asked the boy to play another song for the principal of Victoria School to sing. If I'm not mistaken, he chose to sing one of the Beatles songs.

He only sang a few verses, not much. But we're still happy with it though.

Of course, we then gave him a huge clap.

Right, after both principals have left the place to take a stroll around the school, the pianist began to play a song and sang to himself, with the microphone! The situation was weird. The guy seems so lonely and he's singing to himself??

Just then, Mr. Nik Clark arrived at the scene and told the boy to stop playing and singing. It was kinda embarassing ya know! Imagine a guy who was singing halfly and then told to stop. It was like in front of so many people again. Not too many people, but in front of us. My other friends very laughing at this guy non-stop.

So that guy went off, and seems to be sad or something. Andy then took the chance and climbed onto the seat of the piano.

He then played a song! And it's much much better than the guy earlier!

So after that, I went out of the auditorium to see what the Victoria students are doing. I predicted they might be playing a game of basketball with some people from SOAS. And guess what? I'm right!

Apparently, the Victoria students seemed to be very young. In my opinion, I think they looked as young as how a normal Form 2 boy would look like. And they're like playing against our school's basketball team? Well, it's not SOAS vs Victoria anyway. All players are mixed together in a team. So it's like a friendly match.

I was watching the match, until the principals arrived.

Both principals took attempts to shoot the ball. The Victoria School's principal shot in a ball. Our principal got an air ball.

Then, on the multi-purpose court, I saw another group of Victoria students playing futsal with our boys.

It's not a very interesting match though. I've expected something more interesting.

Onlookers were all very very enthusiastic.

Our principal and the Victoria School's principal have a much more closer relation now. They even joked around, saying silly things.

At once, during the basketball match just now, I heard a little conversation between the principals.

SOAS Principal: "Yeah, over here is the coach of our basketball team,"
Victoria School Principal: "Oh, so you're the coach? Dr. Abu? You can slam dunk??"
Dr. Abu: "Nah, hahahaha,"
SOAS Principal: "Actually we got one more ball, but it's lost."
*he then points to our deputy principal's fat stomach*
SOAS Principal: "He swallowed it."

What the hell? Hahaha..

Anyways, during the last 2 periods, we were again called into the auditorium for the BGIC presentation.

There, we were given a little introduction to the forming of United Nations, Model United Nations and then the Borneo Global Issues Conference.

We were also presented with some video clips.

The principal of Victoria School watching the video. Lol..

That's all for today..

Welcome, Victorians!

Today, our school finally have the chance to welcome the students coming all the way from Victoria School, Singapore.

Assembly today was held in the auditorium, and thus people taking Additional Maths. June Papers were forced to move into other classrooms for the exam.

The Victoria School students received a very very warm welcome, along with the beatings of the 'hadrah'.

The situation just now was very enthusiastic. The SOAS students were clapping non-stop whenever a speaker puts a full-stop to his speech.

Their principal, teachers and 2 of their students sat on chairs provided on the stage alongside our school's principal and deputy principal. The other 8 students from Victoria School were then given a special place to line-up.

Some of my friends commented the Victoria students have very nice school uniforms whereas some of my friends said their trousers would turn black immediately once they sit on the floor of our auditorium which they did.

The emcee today was Wei Chong. Before the start of the assembly, the national anthem, school song and a prayer was read.

The exchange of souvenirs between the 2 schools then proceeded.

(From left to right: our deputy principal, victoria student, Cikgu Hjh. Amalina, our principal Cikgu Pengiran Zahari, Victoria School's principal Low Eng Teong, victoria student)

After all that, a photo session took place between all the prefects of SOAS, Victoria School's principal, teachers and students and also our principal and deputies.

School today was a happy day until Maths period.

Our classroom is very far from the staffroom, so our teacher wanted us to meet her at a classroom nearer to the staffroom. Reason for this being she is pregnant, sick and can't manage to walk so far.

Maths period was after break, so just before the bell rang, James had already gone to look for our 'new' classroom. He said he would send me a SMS to tell me which classroom we'll be using.

I received his message and he told me to go C1. Ok, so I stayed in the class a little longer just to take out my Maths exercise books, and also clean the whiteboard.

By that time, most of the class had already set off to the new class. Me, Gary and Tiah were still in our class, preparing our stuffs.

So we set off. The walk from Pra-U Block to Block C took such a long time. Descending the stairs from Pra-U Block would have taken 2 minutes at least. Then walking to Block C would take about 1 minute. Apparently, classroom 'C1' is at the very very end of Block C, so it means we 3 have to waste another 1 minute. By the time we've reached C1, there were no M5Sc1 students inside.

I felt lost and we 3 were left wandering around the school, just to look for one freaking class.

Just then, i realised there was 2 unread messages in my phone. Both messages are the same thing but sent at different times.

I read the message. This is what the screen shows.

I was given wrong info! And as I lift my head, I saw James at the 1st floor balcony of Block C. He was just outside of C15, waving to us to come over. Wasting no time, me, Tiah and Gary rushed to C15.

We were late by 15 minutes. Not exactly 15 minutes yet, but close. We got inside the classroom and got so bombarded by the teacher for being late. The teacher was so fucking angry and she decided to call off the lesson. She said, "You guys wasted 15 minutes. This is only a 30 minutes period! Now we got 15 minutes left and what do you think we can still do? You see, I found out you guys have changed your attitude. Are you guys too tired of finding the classrooms? If so please tell me, then I would have to walk to your classroom everyday. You guys should've set off with the class together" I was so so soo pissed off. I was cleaning the whiteboard when the class left, and it doesn't seem like they would wait for me.

Her tone was very very annoying with her stupid fucking gestures. I really hate her now. Just because she's sick and pregnant doesn't mean she can treat each of us like your pet. Even some of the teachers in SOAS dislike her behaviour, yet she's very ignorant sometimes. Acting so cool. I bet she must've seen to many movies and got oh so inspired by the cool characters. It was like hell. I don't fancy that, thank you. I don't even care if she reads my blogs now. If she do reads, then you're very WELCOME!

For being late today, I'm so sorry. But what disappoints me the most was that I didn't have the chance to explain myself. This made me very furious and yet changed my mood for the whole day. The teacher asked only Gary for reasons being late. Gary explained that he went to the canteen and there was a long queue. (Note: Gary brought his food from the canteen and ate inside the classroom)

Just look at the time difference between the 2 messages sent. 10.33am for the 1st and 10.39am for the 2nd. James found the class and waited until 6 minutes later to tell us?

Maths was over, and there's English period to come.

Mrs. Geetha was also angry because most of us had written too many words in our English June Paper 1. I agreed with Mrs. Geetha.

"..this certainly broke my heart. How many times have I told you guys not to write too many words? You see, if you write too much words, you tend to make mistakes.."

Ok, a stressful day. End of story. I feel much better now though.

New chair

Today, after tuition, my dad brought me to Court Furniture.

Why? Because my computer chair is broken!

As I walked around inside Court Furniture, I saw this chair which is similar to my cousin's. I was then so desperate to buy this chair.

I tried to hint my dad to buy this chair and so, I told my dad, "Eh? This chair is very comfy leh, and looks almost like Jiahui's"

My dad then approached and began to examine the chair. Then, he asked the staff there, "Eh paray, ini ada kurang kah?"

The worker took the price tag away and asked the other staff members if there's any discount.

Ok, there's a discount, so why not buy the chair?

Because my dad is driving Vios today, and that the whole chair does not fit inside the car, we have no choice but to buy home the the chair in it's unassembled state and then assemble it at home by ourselves.

Haha.. The worker said it's easy to assemble the chair.. Wanna know why?

Because I'm sitting on the chair right now. =p

Time is gold

I've just realized time has become more and more precious to me. What the hell? They are always so precious! Time is gold!

I'm talking about attending tuition classes.

How many tuition classes are you having per week?

I got tuition everyday for god's sake! Monday to Sunday!

Yeah, I know they are people who have more tuition classes than me and yet they're not even complaining.. Well, for me, tuition is good but it kills time!

So my time has become more limited nowadays. Been a very busy man.

Each tuition class took at least 1hr 15minutes. Transportation took at least 10 minutes.

So in a normal school day, school ends at 12.30pm, extra classes starts from 1pm until 3.30pm, then went home and took a shower, after that, prepare for tuition classes and what's next?

I barely have enough time for my homeworks and entertainments!

Because of these tuition classes, my dad always have to take a break from his working time just to fetch me to tuition, except on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

(Note: My uncle fetches me on Wednesdays and Saturdays)

Transportation is a problem. It doesn't seem that my dad can always take a time-out from his work, so sometimes I would even have to call my sis or maybe even my other uncles just to fetch me to tuition.

Come to think of it, it's very troublesome for them isn't it?

Since I'm having tuition classes at four different places each week, my dad has to cover up all the tuition fees per month. Well, sometimes my mom contributed some =p..

Also, my dad keeps telling me that I really must stop using the computer and do more studies or revisions.. But sometimes I would just ignore him..

In other case, I even do my homeworks beside the computer table! I can even chat with my friends while doing my homeworks. When my dad enters the room, I would quickly shift back to do my homeworks just so he won't yell at me.

What a clever plan.

However, I may seem lazy and not worried about my studies but, I am really determined to work hard this year. I'm targeting as many 'A's as possible this year.

Malay June papers are over and Monday's gonna be my English June papers..

Hmm.. Shouldn't be that difficult.. A bit more reading might be enough..

Well, reading through the internet that is..! LoL!
