Salam Aidilfitri

...

Crap. My Malay looks terrible! I just thought it would be a good idea to write up something in Malay, seeing that I am Malay myself. Gotta preserve my originality, if y'get what I mean.

Hmmm..let's try Malay Brunei:

Aku mengambil kesampatan ani mengucapkan Selamat Ari Raya arah semua urang di negara ani. Sorry ah kalau aku ada buat kesalahan arah kamu. Mudahan saja kitani kena rahmati dengan kegembiraan masa ari yang mulia ani lah xD

Ok wtf...I'll just say it in English la:

I'm taking this chance to wish every Muslims in this country a happy Raya. I ask for forgiveness if I ever did anything wrong, or hurt you guys in any way (that includes you Non-Muslims). Let's hope we will be blessed with happiness (and money) on this very special day :)

Ok ok anyways, my point for this entry is....

SELAMAT HARI RAYA! MAAF ZAHIR & BATIN.

SAVE GLORY DAY! SORRY PHYSICALLY & SPIRITUALLY. (Edison was the one who came up with this translation)

The great things about Hari Raya:

-You can (finally) eat all you want.
-You don't have to wake up so early before sunrise to eat anymore.
-You get to collect money.
-You get to eat cakes, kuih-muih, etc, which are rarely available on any other day, except on Hari Raya. I'm craving for Tapak Kuda, Ketupat, and Dodol!!
-You get to hear Hari Raya songs everywhere :D I don't know about you guys, but I love to hear 'em. It really pumps up the Raya mood in me.
-You get to collect money.

The bad things about Hari Raya:

-AS LEVEL EXAM IS GETTING EVEN REAL CLOSER NOW! T-T

How I wish I could just send a leather-jacket robot assassin back into the past to kill the guy who invented exams.
