Me and Tiah went to Tasek Lama with the intention of hiking and jogging for the sake of our fitness. After being given so many homeworks and having so much tuition these days, going to Tasek Lama might be good to relieve our stresses.
Too bad Nazrin cannot accompany us, he hasn't got any transport to join us that day.
We reached there at around 4.30pm. Many cars were already parked there, showing tons of joggers and hikers were already there.
Before we went in, I suggested to buy a drink from a small vendor just outside the entrance to Tasek.
Tasek Lama has changed so much over the years and it has been months since I've last came.
There's these type of new outdoor fitness thingy which you can do push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups and various other exercises which is really enjoyable and making you healthier at the same time.
People of different generations could be seen. These includes the elderly people, middle-aged people, teenagers, childrens excepts infants. Duh~
Also, there are also "massaging stones" which you can walk on it. It may be painful, but it's worth it.
It is best recommended to take off your shoes if you are to walk on the massaging stones. But screams and yells of painfulness were to be expected.
There are also safer ways to jog in Tasek now compared to last time. With these kind of path, no one jogging in Tasek would ever get lost. Plus, there are bridges linking to everywhere too.
They even built a place where you can sit down and have a rest.
A really good use of timber here.
Rock climbing are available now in Tasek Lama.
So far, I have never seen any one performing rock climbing here.
Rock climbing here is not open to public. I'm not sure when will it be used though.
The most relaxing sight of the day was the waterfall. I took quite a few pictures of the waterfall too. I'm not sure how many waterfalls are there in Brunei either.
After that, me and Tiah went to hike. Despite the recent thunderstorms and heavy rains, we're still doing it.
This is just the starting point. You can see Tiah walking up the steps easily whereas I was trailing at the back, climbing with difficulty.
It was quite hard for me that day, totally unlike me when I was younger. I used to climb this hill every week with my dad, but not now. Poor Des-mo-besity.
When I reached the peak, Tiah was already there waiting for me. I reached for the bench provided at the peak immediately, wiping my sweats and resting.
It is also good to know that we were actually climbing 100 metres above sea level. A great milestone? Nah..
It was lucky of me to buy a bottle of 100 Plus that day. Although carrying it up with me while hiking was a bit of a nuisance, it was still worth it.
My feet started to ache a bit. I thought the blisters are starting to appear again. Maybe it's time for new shoes?
The view from the mountain top was fantastic. You don't get to see this everyday yeah.
Right, at the peak, we can choose to route we want. Either the long-and-easy Route A or..
the short-and-difficult route B..
I chose Route B over Route A because I wanted to end this quick.
So in Route B, we only managed to climbed a quarter of the route because our ways were blocked.
Several trees struck by lighting fell on the path.
Here is the video of Tiah showing that it is impossible to go through.
So we have to return back up and change our way to Route A. The long and easy one. Mafan! -_-"
Route A does not have steeper steps than Route B. There are also several fallen trees though, but we were able to make it through.
Luckily for me and Tiah, we met Aston's dad and his friend while hiking. We were lucky to have their assistance during the day. Seriously, if it wasn't for them, we might not get out to the hill so easily.
Finally, we got out of the hill, and found ourselves beside Sheraton Hotel.
Very steep way downwards.
After that day, my legs still hurt till this day.

Mantoux Test Result
Our school conducted the Mantoux Test 4 days ago after a teacher in our school (anonymous in this case) were confirmed to have been infected with Tuberculosis.
However, only classes taught by the unidentified teacher proceeded to the Mantoux Test. My class is one of them.
Well, the teacher is now fine and back to her healthy state.
After having conducted Mantoux Test of which I've had injection, our class had another check-up this morning to see if one is TB-positive or negative.
The check-up this morning involves the measuring of the diameter of the induration across our forearm.
The nurses from RIPAS arrived at school today at around 10.00pm which coincides with our recess time.
Not only students were checked, but also teachers.
Some of us who have negative thoughts felt nervous whereas others seemed rather OK.
First, the nurse will rub the induration on your forearm, mark two points using a pen, and then finally record the measurement with a normal school ruler.
Any longer than 10mm, you're in hot soup.
The induration on my forearm were big, so I was quite nervous and somehow unwilling to proceed to the check-up. I even measured the length of the induration by myself and the measurements were terrible.
But turns out today, the measurement was only 0.7cm which is fine! The way I measured it was wrong, which is of course different from the way the nurse measured it for me.
I then realized that most of my classmates who have bigger indurations than I have were also safe. So only then they have the mood to talk and joke around.
Now that my friends are safe, I describe them as BEH KIA SI!!!

Stam-peed-o
Oh man, more and more disgusting things are starting to appear day by day.
Today at school, a pill millipede has been stampeded to death by one of my classmate.
I didn't get to see the millipede when it's alive, so when I first saw the millipede in it's crushed state, I actually thought it was a snail with it's shell torn apart.
The large armor that the millipede carries on its back looks as tough that I thought it was a snail's shell. Weird.
For this tragedy, my classmates held a "funeral" for the pill millipede as a remembrance.
For some reasons, they named the pill millipede "Chong / Poop".
Hopefully after this incident, "Chong / Poop" may rest in peace..
The killer of the day was none other than Ahmad "Mat" Malkan!
Omg.. Can you imagine being stampeded on by a guy with that size? Poor little millipede..

And for the first time in this site, there will be a disgusting post.
Want to know what's it? I'll give you a hint before any of you scroll down further.
Think! Think! Think!

I am so so so shocked to see "things" when I was about to use the toilet this morning.
There were pieces of shit! OMG!
Don't worry people, I have blurred the picture so as to minimize the "disgustness".
Owh man, there are actually sick people who would stick their ass into somewhere only men pisses on and do their thang?
I have absolutely no idea how that guy did this.
Imagine, he checked the door, no one looking, then do his shit thing?
Ahhh yuck!
I swear not to use that toilet again. NEVER AGAIN!
P/S: I'm not the one who took those shit pictures.

My very own Harry Potter 7 Review *no spoilers!*
Ah, finally I've got my hands on the book!
I had my sister buy the book from Best Eastern yesterday morning. Luckily, and thankfully, she had the job well done. :)
The queue at Best Eastern, The Mall yesterday morning wasn't really that long, that is, when compared to those at other countries.
I supposed they're all buying the Harry Potter Book 7. Couldn't be buying another book right? It'd look weird. Can't imagine it.
Most of the customers yesterday morning was mainly comprised of teenage students who were on their way to school. Well, if you looked at the picture, there were some "aunties" as well.
After all, I don't think it's really necessary to go there so early just to ensure you get your copy. I mean, look at the queue in Brunei. There's not much people!
Not even more than the number of students in a freaking classroom!
In other countries, you'll see hundreds of customers flocking into any nearest bookstore, snatching, grabbing, buying, stealing or in any other methods to get their hands on the book.
In this type of crowd, you would not even be aware if any perverted old man came and simply touch or molest you. Luckily in Brunei, no perverted old man would wake up so early in the morning and squeeze into a crowd queuing to buy Harry Potter books. There's not even a crowd for them to squeeze in even if they wanted to.
Right, so after my sister bought the book, she phoned me right away and told me the price is far more expensive that the $32 I gave her. It's far worse!
Best Eastern sells the book for $49.95! What's worse is that my sister told me the news RIGHT after she bought it. Really feel like long-piak.
What breaks my heart even more is that most of the shops in the country were selling at $36 - $38. Not more than $40 I guess.
And yet, the only advantage of buying from Best Eastern is that you get this bag for free.
Backpack, costs more than $10.
As far as I've observed the bag, I find it quite durable. Not those one-layer type. But I still don't think they deserve a price more than two-digits.
What I hate about the bag is the ropes. Very out-of-style.
Buying the book was surely a satisfaction, but having it in a bad condition is the last thing you'll ever hope for.
Apparently, a few pages of the book that I have was like this!
Should be a little "error" from the factory? Ruined my book!
If only I could exchange for another copy! But never mind..
Maybe it's just my fate to have the book in this condition... ;( *emo*

Say hello to my little friend!
Now I really can't wait for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" to be released!
I'm so anxious about the book that I've re-read Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince.
Man, the Potter fever has now really got into me.
I even got a countdown timer for the release of the book at this site.
I still remember 2 years ago when HP book 6 was first released.
Expecting there'll be other crazy and mad Potter fans queuing to buy the book on the first day, I went to Yayasan as early as 6 a.m. 2 years ago just to ensure I get my copy.
But turns out.. there were no one at all! At that time, I was the only customer there and there were tons of HP Book 6 waiting for the next customers. I was also asked by a security guard there, "You here to buy the book?"
Of course lah! So early go there can do what?! 6 a.m! No shops were open expect Paul & Elizabeth!
I did not make any reservations or bookings to buy the book last time, so I suppose I shall do the same this year.
The biggest problem I face now is that I don't know which version to pick.
I'll buy either..
The UK Child Version..
or..
the UK Adult Version.
I think I'll most probably buy the Child's Version but I may change my mind upon different people's opinions and views.
So which do you think I should buy? And shall I buy the book as early as 6 a.m. this time too?

Exploration of the ambulance
Have you guys ever get to see the inside of an ambulance?
We SOAS students were lucky today as we get to explore both the inside and outside of an ambulance.
It all comes from the Career Talk we had earlier today.
We were being briefed by people from the Ministry of Health about a certain career we might consider to pursue in the future. This includes Audiology, Opthalmology and Optometry, Social Work and Paramedics.
Choosing to be a paramedic might be tough. One of the main criteria of becoming a paramedic is to run 5-kilometers at least twice a week. The job offers a 8-hour shift. A paramedic, who gave her speech today told us there are around 10-20 cases happening everyday. How scary.
We have also been told that we may take a look at the ambulance parked at the school's parking lot.
The ambulance here is just a normal small ambulance, unlike the big, gigantic, loud and rectangular ambulance you would see when serious cases took place.
The ambulance driver should drive between the speed of 60km/h - 100km/h.
The sirens we always hear comes from this tiny little box here. With just a little press of the button.
As expected, there are stretchers at the back of the ambulance.
We may also get inside the ambulance for further exploration if we want to. Andy is one of the few people who moved inside the ambulance.
On the same day, everyone involved in the Royal Marriage flag-waving has finally get their souvenirs rewarded for participating in the event.
This time, we got watch as souvenirs. Special.
The watch is brandless. Of course you wouldn't expect a Rolex, Guess or even Fossil at least.
However, the watch comes in 2 colors. That is, blue..
and a translucent one, with a few flowery prints on it.
It a good souvenir really. People who doesn't wear watches in our class can now finally get to know the time during classes and exams.
For instance, the 2007 Australian English Competition which we all must join.
The English competition is really really hard, especially when you really need to know how much time is left because the time provided is too little - an hour.

You will lose everything
I've watched Die Hard 4 and Harry Potter 5 in less than 24 hours!
Watching Die Hard 4 on Saturday night was a last minute decision and it's a late 9.30pm show.
I went inside the cinema late and missed the front part of the movie, but I was able to catch up with what's going on in the movie. A really cool piece of Bruce Willis action there.
The next day, I watched Harry Potter 5 with Nazrin, Tiah, Ayman and Thedoric!
I couldn't wait for this movie after watching the 4th movie of Harry Potter.
However, when I heard criticisms and bad comments from my friends who have watched this movie, I became less anxious to watch it.
The movie was rather OK for me, I rate it 8 out of 10. For Tiah, it's 7.5 out of 10 whereas Nazrin gave it 7 out of 10. Haha, me being the lenient and soft-hearted person here.
On the same day, I saw some language-teaching books for sale in Best Eastern.
I was quite interested and so I bought one of them!
I bought the Thai book. Is it weird?
Thedoric bought the German book. He's so obsessed with the Germans.
After watching the two-hour-and-15-minutes-long movie, it was 7pm already! Nazrin and Ayman had left.
Tiah said he was hungry so we head to Pizza Hut for "dinner".
Thed joined us in Pizza Hut while waiting for his car.
Looking through the menu, there's this $3.95 promotion. Cheap?
I actually thought you just have to pay $3.95 for one of these sets but turns out it's $7.90 each!
The menu says it's for 2 persons and 1 person would just have to pay $3.95! Really got fooled by Pizza Hut here.
But after much consideration, $3.95 turns out not to be so expensive.
$3.95 can get you a plate of Beef Spaghetti, 4 pieces of garlic breads (2 pieces for 1 person to be exact) and a glass of cola!
I think this promotion is kinda worth it. There are lots of choices for different sets. You may choose to have 2 personal pan pizzas OR 1 personal pan pizza & spaghetti OR 1 personal pan pizza & a plate of rice.
It's all up to you.. Go for this promotion before it ends..

Lost bag found
My good friend Wafi's bag was stolen on Thursday.
It is the England National Football Team sack actually, and was bought from England.
So when such a valuable item was stolen, of course who wouldn't be mad right??
Wafi had to attend a Nasyid competition somewhere, so he left his bag in the classroom.
During the last period of the day, we were about to go to the Chemistry Lab. As it was the last period and that we're going to the lab, we have to lock our classroom. Wafi hasn't returned yet so one of our classmate, who happens to be his cousin, Najaah, left his bag in the gulingtangan room, which is just beside the M5A7 class.
But in the end, we didn't make it to the Chemistry Lab, so we have to return to our classroom. Najaah did not take Wafi's bag back to the classroom with him. So, another classmate of ours, Nazreen messaged Wafi and told him his bag was in the gulingtangan room.
Shortly, Wafi returned and went to the gulingtangan room just to find out his things were left scattered around the gulingtangan room. His England bag, along with his LV pencil case gone.
An angered Wafi then enter our classroom looking extremely unpleased. He was very very angry and mad at Najaah for not taking responsibility of his bag.
Everyone in our class reckon people from M5A7 were the culprits. So we went to look for the bag in M5A7 but with no luck. No one would admit. The bag was probably hidden somewhere. Luckily, his LV pencil case was found on the same day when people from M5SC2 found it around the corridor of the Pra-U block.
The incident was then reported to the principal immediately.
The principal will interview each and every student from M5A7 one by one some days later.
However today, when Wafi was on his way back to the classroom, he was told by people from M5A7 that his bag was found in the toilet, near the sink.
He found the same, exact bag, but looks dirtier than ever.
We reckon people from M5A7 were almost on their wits of being caught and thus put the bag in the toilet, claiming they FOUND the bag there. *suspicious*
The bag now seemed to have been stepped on or have been stomped, perhaps by the people who stole it and felt unsatisfied.
The suspicions are largely on students from M5A7.
Several pens and ruler of Wafi were gone too.
M5A7 will soon move out from the Pra-U Block to somewhere else.

Thye's Foodcourt Review
Hey yo people!
There's a new food court in town!
Remember the Justoys "castle"? It has now been converted into a food court!
I think it is called "Thye's Foodcourt".
It's kinda hard to imagine that a used-to-be toy store can turn into a large food court..
It's a good idea though, way more profitable than the toy-selling business.
One of my uncle's friend operates a food stall in the soon-to-be opened food court and so the owner invited my uncle earlier this evening.
My uncle's friend operates the Economy Rice food stall and I gotta tell you, his stall was the most and only productive food stall this evening.
The opening day is tomorrow, but my uncle was called to visit the food court for "try-outs".
As for the "try-outs", all the foods served this evening was free.
Yeah, it's free, which means I get to eat free foods such as cocktails..
..unlimited cans of soft-drinks & packed drinks..
..and the economy rice!
When I first came, there were no more rice.. I didn't get to eat much. All there's left was the Chicken Curry and Butter Prawn. So immediately I helped myself to a plate of some chicken curry and butter prawns.. Without rice! But the chicken curry and butter prawn were delicious.
You have no idea how long I've waited for the rice.
There were tons of people queuing at the food stall earlier which is the main reason why the foods were gone in such a short time.
I've waited only until the chef has done cooking another round to get my plate of rice and the tofu ya know..
They serves Chicken Curry, Japanese Tofu, Butter Prawn, Veges and many many more and I hardly get to try them..
Shortly after I've eaten, the foods were all gone.. It really seems that the first-come-first-serve rule applies very strongly here..
So if you wanna taste good and cheap food, you have to be quick! The price is so reasonable! Costs only between $3 to $5!
Also, I get to taste Penang Fried Mee from another stall.
I've eaten fried mee before but NOT Penang fried mee, so this is my first time.
As a first-timer, I have to say the fried mee was quite addictive and have a slight taste of spiciness. Delicious. Die die must try!
Although tomorrow's the opening day already, I find it quite surprising that there were people still busy working and applying final touches to the soon-to-be-opened food court.
I mean, there were people eating and having their meal inside the food court and yet there were people busy drilling, sticking banners and decorating the food court.
I'm not trying to say it's a bad thing to do so but I just find it weird that they are only doing these things NOW?
Haha.. Have to work fast loh.. Good luck people, I mean uhh, workers..
I also find this table below here very unique.
It's quite attractive don't you think so?
Smart way to attract customers, not bad. LoL!
However, on the first floor of the building were dark and empty.
I wonder what would the first floor become?
A place to store things maybe? Who knows..
If any of you were free, kindly pay a visit to the food court! At least you should give it a try!

Mystery mystery mystery
There have been a lot of weird things happening in SOAS these days.
Just some weird things.
A few days ago, when I first reached my classroom, one of the light bulb was left hanging on its end, almost falling.
The screw was somehow loosened.
The bulb has been in this state from yesterday until now!
Nobody at all has a clue how this happened..
Also on the same day, one of our air-conditioner has it's cover stripped off!
The cover was not gone though, it was simply placed on one of our tables.
We then tried to put the cover back in its place but it doesn't fit in anymore..
So we used masking tapes and replaced the cover once again..
When we first moved into the Pra-U Block Classroom before, the wall of the classroom had some kind of markings all over it.
It seriously freaked everyone out.. My form teacher even felt disgusted at the sight of it.
But luckily there's Cleaning Campaign several months ago and the mysterious markings has been covered up. Phew~
Also, this table below here, it was gone a few days ago. But only for a day.
Some of us did not even realize the table was gone. Some just felt the class was a bit strange but couldn't notice the oddness about the class.
The table disappeared so suddenly and returned like in a *poof* ?
Mystery mystery mystery..
Nobody knows what has caused these things to happen..

Class of 64 Library Review
Since the Class of 64 Library is now officially opened, me and some of my classmates visited it.
The outside seems very classy, so inside shouldn't be any different.
We also have to take off our shoes to get inside.
We chose not to go to the school's canteen just to visit the library.
We spent our whole recess time in the library!
The Class of 64 Library serves more as a gallery of His Majesty's achievements and official visits rather than a library.
They even got banners that can move. Wow. (Banners not moving in the picture)
At the center of the Class of 64 Library, there is this huge table (picture) with chairs surrounding it, making the place like a meeting room.
Anyone from the school are welcomed to visit, the librarians are even more than happy when more students visit.
The library looks much more classy than an office.
The 3 computers in the library are readily-available for use, but I'm not sure whether it's free of charge.
The good thing is, you can bring your laptop to the library and access the internet using the wireless connection provided by the library.
If not mistaken, the wireless connection extends up to 100 metres. So by just staying in the classroom, we got internet access! Hurray!
The library is really really clean and tidy. It's really hard to imagine that the old and used-to-be book store has now turned into an expensive and highly luxurious library.
The library certainly makes me want to visit it everyday during recess. The red sofas reminds me of the red sofas provided at HSBC.
The place was also very cold and yet, very relaxing.
The bad thing about this is that I only have several months left to go until I have to bid this newly renovated high-class library a farewell.
At the left corner of the library, there are 3 photo albums of His Majesty making official visits to several places. There are also pictures of His Majesty visiting Chung Hwa Middle School back in 2002, when I was still only in Primary 6.
Then, looking right, there is this oval-shaped room.
It's oval shaped yo!
There's even plasma TV in it!
From my point of view, the whole oval-shaped room looks like somewhere you can have karaoke? Have fun disco? Or maybe a place to play a DDR game?
Heck, it's so multipurpose! Lol
On the wall, there are pictures showing His Majesty from as early as 1967 until year 2007, that is this year. All in sequence mode.
Elsewhere, the REAL library, just beside the Class of 64 Library, is sooooooo quiet.
Notice our PE teacher reading the newspaper in this picture above.
I suppose this library would be where we'll have our upcoming English Oral Exam.
Two years ago, this place was used for our PMB English Oral Exam. So this year should be the same right?
Finally, a group photo of all of us who visited the Class of 64 Library.
NOTE: I'm the only one who did NOT wear the school tie. I left it in my school bag at class, I just couldn't let them wait for me to go get my school tie right?
The End..

"Class of 64" Library Officially Opened
Anxious about His Majesty's visit, I went to school earlier today. When I reached school, I saw some huge vehicles parked at the parking lot at the back of the school.
I don't know what's the use of the huge bus pictured below here, but I only know it's such a huge Volvo.
As early as 6.45am, there were already people from the ministry at our school.
As expected, there were red carpets, still covered with plastic, on the floor.
This could be one of the longest red carpet I've seen.
The red carpet extends from our auditorium, right all the way to the school's due-to-be-opened library and the meeting room in the school's science department.
Everyone in the school were very cautious not to step on the red carpet, even before the plastic covers were removed. We even have to jump over the red carpet just to get across.
It's also notable that the school's renovation works these few days has been very impressive.
Painters were also hired to paint parts of the school.
We had our MIB test this morning at 7.50am. The MIB test were brought forward as we would be involved in the line-ups later during the day.
After the test, there were a lot of high ranking officials at the school already. The plastic covers of the red carpet has been removed. Some of us stood by the balcony of our class, and then, Cikgu Pg. Alias signalled us to go down and do some "work". I thought we might be given some very tough job or maybe get involved with the officials there.
But turns out, we were told by the teacher pick up stones which can be seen at the grassy area near the library and dispose it at somewhere behind the library.
Gah... "These aren't my job!", I thought.
So we all just pick like about 3 or 4 stones, dispose it, and fled!
I then went to the toilet to wash my dirtied hands.
When I returned, there were 2 Pehins standing outside the library. I was alone that time. The 2 honourable Pehins looked at my school badge and asked me,
The Honourable Pehin: "How much does your school badge cost?" Me: "$2 I think," The Honourable Pehin: "Oh, do you know where to buy the school badge?" Me: "Erm.. It can be bought from the school's coooperative store" The Honourable Pehin: "So can you help us buy the school badge?" Me: "Yeah, ok sure" The Honourable Pehin: "Right, can you help me buy 5 of it?" Me: "Yeah sure!"
One of the Pehin then took out his wallet and handed me a $10 note and immediately I ran all the way to the school's store.
The 2 Pehins also told me that they were ex-students of SOAS.
I actually didn't know they were Pehins at first, until one of my friends told me.
It seems that most of the ministers and Pehins who also went to our school this morning were ex-students of SOAS.
When I reached the school's store, I was told that the badge were out of stock.
I was so so so disappointed. VERY disappointed..
I then returned the $10 note back to the Pehin and told him the badge is out of stock. I then offered to give him my school badge but he refuses, of course.
I also noticed that the shirt they were wearing was actually the school uniform and ties of SOAS, excluding the coat that he was wearing.
So before His Majesty arrives, we all prepared and lined-up for his arrival.
We waited for about 20-30 minutes.
When His Majesty arrived, His Majesty walked on the red carpet and went to the school's library first to officially open it.
The library is now officially open to all students of SOAS. Hurray!
His Majesty also officially opened our newly renovated padang arena. ------------------------------------------------
DENcorp's Tip of the Day:
Try to catch RTB News tonight at 8pm or 10pm for more information about His Majesty's visit to SOAS.
-OR-
Buy a copy of Borneo Bulletin or Media Permata tomorrow!

Anxious
Hello people!
I'm really sorry for my lack of updates these days..
Sometimes there's just nothing for me to blog about..
And sometimes I'm just too busy to blog..
Tomorrow morning, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam will be visiting our school to officially open the "Class of 64 Library" in our school.
Our school library has just got it's facelift and is to be officially opened by His Majesty tomorrow morning.
His Majesty might also pay visit to different classrooms, science laboratories and also the padang arena.
It has been around 2 years ago since His Majesty last visited.
I'll be very anxious and most looking forward towards His Majesty's visit.
P/S: I'm also thinking of making a new banner or some kind of header (picture) for this blog. It would have pictures of me, Tiah and Nazrin.
I shall post it up once I'm done making the "banner". =D

STPRI's Golden Jubilee
I figured I have not been blogging in such a while. You all know lah.. I got Monthly Test.. I don't want to keep my visitors away.. So, please let me present you an update of my little visit to STPRI two nights ago!
There was a bazaar or some kind of 'pasar malam' held in STPRI in conjunction with STPRI's 50th Anniversary Celebration (Golden Jubilee).
Huzai wanted me to accompany him because he thinks it would be awkward if he just went with his dad and brothers. I would go, but only if Tiah go. So immediately he contacted Tiah, and eventually Tiah agreed. So it means, I'll go too!
My mom hesitated to let me go as she knew I have POA Test the following day. She even said, "Go STPRI for what?? See chabo ahhh???" But upon Tiah's arrival at my house, my mother finally let me go..
Huzai wanted to pick me and Tiah from my house at first.. We were supposed to go there at 6.30pm.. But only at 7.20pm, Huzai told us that he couldn't pick us both and thus we had to go by ourselves! Ahhh so frustrated!
We decided to walk to STPRI from SOAS.. Since the 2 schools are so near anyway..
Although there were night classes at SOAS that time, the school was all so quiet.. No signs of people around except people from some of the classrooms which were occupied by adults from different courses..
We planned to walk through the gate at the back of the school a.k.a backdoor. But you know what????
The gate was damn bloody SOB KNN CCB LOCKED!!!
Wahlao eh.. We don't feel like walking out of SOAS and make another huge turn around the school just to get to STPRI.. Why did we stop at SOAS in the first place!!! Argghhh Goddammit!
So how leh? We climbed over the gate!
These are the clearest pictures I can show.. It was so dark that time..
NOTE: I took these pictures of Tiah climbing over the gate after I, myself had successfully climbed over it.
We both struggled to climb, but we got no choice! Had to get over!
The climbing part was the most easiest, but the hardest part was to get ourselves over the fence. We always have to be aware our shirts or pants does not get stucked to the spikes of the fence. One single mistake by us could produce a serious injury to either of us.
The landing part was the most painful part of the whole process. I landed on my feet with a BANG! Wow.. The blood rushed up my body so quick that I can actually feel the heat.
Arghh... You can tell the difficulty we've had by looking at Tiah's face here..
For climbing over the fence, Tiah got green stains on his pants. Ohh.. Poor little Tiah.. No more fashion boy~ Haha.. just kidding..
Although we had difficulty climbing the fence, we felt this "incident" might also be useful.. We gained some experience ya know!!
Maybe we'll resort to climbing fences with barbed wires next time??? You have no idea.. =p
Barbed wires
So we then met up with Huzai at STPRI.. He got oh so bombarded by me and Tiah for being "hor lan".. Haha..
There were so many cars parked in the all-female school's parking lot. Several banners and decorations were put on for the Golden Jubilee Celebration. The whole place was soo 'lau jiat'..
There were food stalls and other vendors selling books too.
Huzai wanted to tour around the school, so me and Tiah agreed as we all have never really visited the school in such a way that will satisfy us.
The school was quite big.. The school even got a nice field.. Not exactly a field, but a huge piece of grassland.
As far as I know, there were blockades to the school's classroom that time.
Blockades here..
Blockades there...
Blockades EVERYWHERE!
Shortly, Huzai went back home.. Go home so early! Can't enjoy the fun with us liaw lar! Regret ah later!
And so me and Tiah went to see what the STPRI-ans has got on their stage..
I had to say, the stage was one of the best decorated stage a school can have.. I didn't know if the stage is being built for temporary use but I remember there were marble steps around the stage.. So couldn't be temporary right??
There were girls dancing and singing.. An all girls show!! For free again leh!!
Well, the people who performed sang and danced quite nice.. I was impressed.. Oiseh! Hahaha..
Me and Tiah sat far behind to enjoy the show on stage, while eating the Chicken Burger we have bought earlier..
Behind us were 2 big bouncers with kids playing so enthusiastically..
I don't know if the bouncers were free or not..
But it surely reminds me of the glorious memories I've had when I played bouncer as a kid!
It would be awkward to see 2 teenage boys playing in the bouncers, so better don't play lar.. Haha!
End.
