A day at the ICC..

Yo guys.. I just got back from the Opening Ceremony of the Borneo Global Issues Conference V at the ICC.. It was all so tiring.. But having given the chance to wear formal attire and see girls, everything was worth it.. And yeah, really lots of hot girls there..

This is the 'balcony' area, the area where I sit..

The main conference hall was very well lighted.. See most of the bulbs there illuminating??

The stage when the lights went off..

Then lighted up!

There are around 300 delegates in this conference.. Some of them from neighbouring countries like Thailand, Malaysia and some other Asian countries..

I was there busy taking pictures and the balcony seats were all filled up quickly, mainly by parents, teachers and students..

Seriously, the speeches during the Opening Ceremony was damn boring.. Firstly by the Director of ISB, second, the British High Commissioner to Brunei, John Saville, followed by our Minister of Industry and Primary Resources Dato Hamdillah, then the conservationist and television presenter, Professor David Bellamy and lastly, 2004 Nobel Prize Winner, Wangari Maathai!!!

Right, after the Opening Ceremony, the delegates and staffs went to have lunch.. Remember? Their 'refreshments'?? Me and Tiah aren't allowed to eat!! How can this be?! So what we did, we waited until the hall were empty.. Then go eat the food secretly..

Empty..

And then Andy was there! He was promoted as the helper! Look at his tag there?

He was so kind.. He even taught us how to eat with a fork..

After we had eaten, we then go for the drinks..

1, 2 step..

(From the left: Jimbo, Huzai, Tiah and Gary)

This is what men do in the toilet.. Haha.. Actually Gary and Huzai are just trying to practice their 'body language' at the toilet.. I mean, the body language that they have to present at their respective forums..

Ahh there.. At Gary's forum..

Gary the man..

At Nazrin's forum.. No one cares about the notice man..

Nazrin.. Deep in concentration..

We then walked around the ICC and guess what? We saw people interviewing Wangari Maathai!!! I don't know why but I like to end her name with exclamation marks.. And she also reminds me of the world cup song 'Celebrate the Day'..

At this time, I don't even care what they're interviewing her about.. All I did was to use this chance for photo opportunity..

At the end of the conference, Mrs Geetha offered to take our picture.. Poor Andy didn't make it for this picture..

People rushing out to the entrance..

And this is what we have at the entrance..
